Mandate and context
The CCQ, in partnership with Volume10, is launching an initiative to increase the representation of women and visible minorities in the construction sector. This project focuses on four key pillars: training, integration, development, and promotion. From an early age, girls and minority groups are encouraged to explore careers in construction and receive ongoing support to help them succeed in their training. The integration process is tailored to ensure a smooth and equitable transition, addressing the unique challenges faced by minority groups. Once integrated, individuals have access to the resources they need to advance and thrive in an inclusive work environment. Ultimately, this initiative aims to create pathways to leadership positions, fostering more diverse representation in key decision-making roles.
