Mandate and context
Since its establishment in 2017, Propulsion Québec, the cluster for electric and intelligent transportation, has played a crucial role in effectively mobilizing the ecosystem around sector issues. In its five years of activity, the cluster has successfully brought key players to the table, demonstrating its ability to unite an ecosystem primarily composed of small businesses. Now at a pivotal moment, Propulsion Québec acknowledges the crucial importance of ensuring that its strategic direction is perfectly aligned with emerging trends and sector developments.
Implementation and solutions
To achieve this, Volume10 conducted a thorough analysis of internal and external data, followed by 15 individual interviews with key stakeholders in the ecosystem. Two focus groups were organized with cluster members, along with individual interviews with former members. Volume10 facilitated two strategic retreat days and brainstorming sessions to foster creativity and collaboration. This methodology aims to proactively position the organization to anticipate future challenges and seize opportunities in the TEI market.
Impact and outcomes
Volume10 played a crucial role in enabling Propulsion Québec to refocus on relevant sectors for the years to come through the implementation of strategic planning, thus providing a clear and precise direction. By identifying key areas of intervention and defining clear and measurable objectives, the cluster is better positioned to maintain its relevance and maximize its positive impact in this dynamic ecosystem.
