Mandate and context
During the pandemic, community organizations worked at full capacity to respond to the exacerbation of many social issues such as poverty and food insecurity. The City of Montreal wants to learn from this crisis, build bridges with the community sector and launch inclusion initiatives.
Implementation and solutions
Following an analysis of the City's 2021-2025 Action Plan, Volume10 developed an event to introduce it to the community. To do this, the firm organized a panel discussion on housing, food insecurity, workplace inclusion and access to culture, and launched a series of large-scale table discussions.
Impact and outcomes
The Grand rendez-vous montréalais sur la diversité et l'inclusion organized by Volume10 succeeded in bringing together and mobilizing the community and municipal sectors for the first time after the pandemic. More than 200 people spoke about the city's goals and ambitions for inclusion.
